Full Text of JOE Listing:
The Department of Public Administration & Policy at American University invites applications for two tenured faculty positions to begin in August 2014: (1) Associate/Full Professor with a focus in health policy; and (2) Associate/Full Professor with a focus in urban/metropolitan governance.

These positions will have research, teaching, and service expectations commensurate with appointed rank. Individuals will also be expected to collaborate across units to strengthen the university's research initiatives in health policy or urban/metropolitan governance.

Applicants must meet the university's standards for appointment with tenure at the rank of associate or full professor, including an earned PhD and strong record of research. Candidates with a record of funded research or leadership experience in university research centers are strongly preferred.
