Assistant Professor, 9 month, tenure track, 50% teaching in the economics of agricultural production and sustainability, 50% research in topics that address issues confronting New York State and Northeast agricultural sector such as sustainable production practices, adaptation to climate change, and the implications of environmental policies, publishing in leading journals. Develop and teach two undergraduate and/or graduate courses in sustainable production and related topics during the first three-year appointment, adding a third course after reappointment following the third year. Advising of MS and PhD thesis research, and undergraduates. A Ph.D. in agricultural or applied economics, environmental and resource economics, economics, or a closely related field is required. Expected to have strong training in econometrics and quantitative methods. Women and underrepresented minorities encouraged to apply. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
