The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's Supervision, Regulation and Credit Department is seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP). In this role, the AVP leads economists and quantitative/financial analysts and focuses on: (i) financial risk and regulatory policy thought leadership through empirical academic research, (ii) quantitative analysis and modeling of banking risks, and (iii) identification of risks that may have implications for individual institutions or macro-financial stability. The AVP reports to the Vice President of Risk and Policy, has staff in Charlotte, NC, Baltimore, MD, and Richmond, VA., and can be located in any of these cities.
Experienced economists with a track record of strong research initiatives, a respected record of publication, strong quantitative skills with expertise in one or more area of risk management and people management experience are encouraged to apply.
