Full Text of JOE Listing:
Education: A minimum of a Master's Degree in Economics.
Experience: Experience in teaching economics at the college or university level and evidence of excellence in teaching. Ability and willingness to teach multiple sections of Introductory Macroeconomics. Ability to teach upper division courses a plus. Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and demonstrated commitment to issues of diversity in higher education are particularly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
Teaching: Twelve (12) credit hours of teaching per semester. The teaching will be entirely or primarily Introduction to Macroeconomics sections. A successful applicant who is qualified and able to teach upper division courses may be able to substitute upper division courses for the Introductory Macroeconomics courses on a one-for-one basis.
Service: Active participation in program and department functions and operations along with other school and/or campus service duties. Student advising and multi-section course coordination responsibilities as needed.
Salary: Negotiable and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Benefits: Retirement plan; medical, dental, and life insurance.
Appointment: Contract for a 10-month appointment (renewable annually) at the rank of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Economics beginning August 1, 2013.
