Eastern Washington University invites applications for a tenure track Associate Professor of Economics to begin September 2013. The Economics Department offers a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, an Economics major with a Mathematics option, a Bachelor of Science in Economics and courses supporting the Masters in Business Administration program. Primary teaching responsibilities involves Macroeconomics (including Money and Banking) and International Economics with possible secondary fields such as Forecasting, US Economic History, or Economic Development. All professors teach Principles of Economics. Additionally, since economics courses are increasingly being offered on-line, candidates should at minimum indicate an interest in on-line instruction while on-line experience is desirable. PhD in Economics is required, plus six or more years of satisfactory faculty experience. Preference may be given to candidates offering teaching and research ability in more than one of the listed fields. Position is open until further notice.
