The Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for a position as a three year term Lecturer beginning on July 1, 2013. The successful applicant will teach five one-quarter courses in introductory or higher level undergraduate economics and will advise undergraduate students. Qualifications for appointment include a demonstrated record of excellent teaching in an intermediate level economics course. A macroeconomist with expertise in one or more of the following fields is preferred: Trade, Development, Time Series and Finance. Applicants are required to have a PhD in hand or must provide proof of successfully defending their dissertation by June 30, 2013.
