The Department of Economics invites applications for a full-time non-tenure-track position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Associate Professor. We are seeking outstanding teachers with a record of excellence in the classroom who can successfully teach Managerial Economics and other field courses. The Department offers undergraduate degrees in Economics as well as an MA in Economics and a Masters in Financial Economics. For more information see http://www.ohio.edu/economics.
The target starting date is August 25, 2013. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. The appointment will be for one year. There is a possibility of renewal in subsequent years based on funding and performance reviews.
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. and have a minimum of one year of economics teaching experience at the college level. Applicants need to submit a letter of interest, a curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness and contact information for three references or three letters of reference.
