- Member of the Retirement Planning and Living Research Consortia

- Contribute to the Retirement Planning and Living Research Consortia, a research group interested in retirement research, education, and service outreach
- Develop innovative graduate and undergraduate courses in retirement
- Direct graduate student research
- Conduct and publish research
- Obtain external research funding
- Counsel and mentor students
- Work with industry partnerships
- Serve on Department, College, and University committees

- Earned doctorate or other terminal degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, Consumer Economics, Accounting, Law, or appropriate field
- Demonstrated commitment to financial planning research and education
- Preference given to those specializing in retirement issues or in behavioral economics with a focus on consumer literacy and/or behavior related to financial products and services
- Preference given to those with funded research experience and particularly to those who have current transportable funding
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness, curriculum planning, scholarly publications and research competency and collegiality
