The Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IANR) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is seeking candidates for a 12-month, assistant professor, tenure-leading position, 70% research, 30% teaching. The successful candidate will conduct research focused on the impact of interventions on consumers’ economic well-being, attitudes, knowledge, behavior, and health in the short and long term by evaluating these interventions using economic models of consumer behavior and behavior change. The tenure-home for this position will be the Department of Agricultural Economics and the position will be part of a transdisciplinary team focused on health behaviors and the social, economic, and food environments that influence those behaviors.
A Ph.D. in Agricultural/Applied Economics, Economics or closely related field is required. Degree must be completed before employment begins.
