Applications are invited for a one-year visiting opening in macroeconomics in the Economics Department at the University of the Pacific beginning in Fall/2013. The candidate will be expected to teach introductory macroeconomics and money and banking. Our standard teaching load is alternating semesters of 2 and 3 courses. Pacific is distinguished by its low student-faculty ratio and high quality of undergraduate education.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to and success in undergraduate teaching and will have a Ph.D. or be ABD by August, 2013. The University of the Pacific and the Department of Economics have a strong commitment to maintaining the diversity of our faculty.
