The Economics Department invites applications for at least one and possibly up to three, one-year visiting assistant professor positions for 2013-2014 academic year. Primary teaching responsibilities would be for courses in the departmental core (introduction to economics, intermediate microeconomics or macroeconomics, or econometrics). One visitor will be expected to teach elective courses in any macroeconomics field. For the other visitor(s), the fields are open. Teaching load is 5 courses per year. Minimum qualifications: Completion of the Ph.D.in economics is expected prior to or shortly after date of hire and a demonstrated ability or potential for high quality teaching.
