The Sol Price School of Public Policy invites nominations and applications for the Norman Topping Chair in Medicine and Public Policy, named in honor of one of USC's longest serving University Presidents. The Price School seeks a nationally renowned scholar who can spearhead research and training at the interface between public policy and medicine.
Position Description and Qualifications:
The Topping Chair holder is expected to take an intellectual leadership role in both the Price School and the Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, an interdisciplinary research center serving as a hub for health policy research throughout the University. The applicant should be a distinguished scholar, broadly defined. Substantive research areas may include medicine, public policy, economics, or other discipline. Applicants should hold a doctoral degree and have exceptional research and teaching records. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate an ability to raise external funding to support research or training.
