The Economics Department seeks a tenure-track Assistant
Professor with a primary field in Urban and Regional Economics. Preference will be given to candidates with econometrics skills. Candidates must have a PhD in economics or anticipate receiving it by August 26, 2013, a record of excellence in teaching and evidence of high potential for significant research publishable in quality journals. Potential for success in achieving external funding is preferred. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate economics courses in the candidate's area of expertise and no more than two classes per year in urban or regional economics to students in public administration programs.
