The Department of Business Administration and Economics at Simpson College seeks an Assistant Professor of Economics for a tenure-track position beginning August 20, 2013. Applicants with Ph.D. are preferred, although individuals with ABD will be considered. The candidate will teach in a variety of areas, with emphasis on macroeconomics, money and banking, and courses in finance and investments. Commitment to excellent teaching and professional development are necessary and expected. Simpson College is a private, selective comprehensive liberal arts college in Indianola, IA, approximately 12 miles south of Des Moines, IA.
