ECONOMISTS, NEW YORK
Oxford Economics is one of the leading economic consultancies, providing analysis and advice on a wide range of macro and micro issues to international institutions, governments and blue-chip companies (see www.oxfordeconomics.com).
We are looking for high-calibre economists to join our expanding forecasting and consultancy teams in New York. Positions are available in both our:
**International macro and industry team - assisting in the production of Oxford Economic's global macro and sectoral forecasts; preparing briefing articles on topical economic issues; developing econometric forecasting tools; and undertaking scenario and policy analysis.
**Economic impact and cities team preparing quantitative analysis of the economic impact of a variety of companies, industries and investments; analysing the implications of microeconomic policy changes; and working with our senior economists and analysts to deliver evidence-based thought leadership.
The following skills are required for these roles:
--Strong academic education in Economics at postgraduate level
--Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
--Ability to work effectively in teams across different offices and to tight deadlines
--Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A highly competitive salary package (including bonus scheme) is available.
