The International Economic Growth Division conducts projects in agriculture, economic development, labor, privatization, environment, and trade. Our clients include the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and multilateral financial institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank and the World Bank.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS with 3 - 5 years of experience OR MA/MBA (Entry Level) years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will support a team evaluating agriculture development projects in Africa, using rigorous evaluation methods.
The successful candidate will carry out research, literature searches, support survey development and design, data cleaning, conduct regression analysis and other quantitative analyses using primary data collected by the project.
Additional duties will include supporting monitoring and evaluation activities in other agriculture and climate change projects, and supporting business development proposal writing to win additional evaluation work, and supporting business development in other areas for which international travel will be required.
Skills Prerequisites:
Preferred candidate will have degree in economics, agricultural economics, or international development and strong interest in development work. Excellent writing abilities and strong quantitative skills are critical. Expert knowledge of STATA/SAS and MS Excel is highly desirable.
