The Department of Economics and Business at the University of Cergy-Pontoise together with the Labex MME-DII invites applications for a position in Econometrics or Theoretical Microeconomics at the level of Full or Associate professor. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or doctorate degree in economics and have a well-established record of research and publication. Being able to teach in French is not required but will be appreciated.
The successful candidate will benefit from a reduced teaching load (45 hours/year) during 4 years as well as from dedicated research funds (10 000 euro/year, over 4 years). He/She is expected to teach at the graduate or undergraduate levels, to supervise doctoral students, to be committed to a state-of-the-art research program, and to provide senior leadership in the department. The position is expected to start on September 1, 2012 (or on a mutually agreed date).
