Research and teaching in the department is founded on heterodox traditions of economics (including Marxian, post-Keynesian, classical, institutional and feminist economics). The department is also a major stakeholder in several interdisciplinary programs, including the Bachelor of International and Global Studies and the Masters in Development Studies.
