The Faculty of Economics seeks applications for a Readership which is a senior position with tenure and is available from 1 September 2013. Candidates should have an internationally established academic reputation for excellence in research and a proven capacity to take a leadership role. The Faculty is particularly interested in applicants with applied, policy and/or empirical interests and has a preference for those with research and teaching interests in the areas of empirical microeconomics and/or empirical finance or applied and/or empirical macroeconomics.
Appointments are subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University of Cambridge. Applications should include:

-curriculum vitae;
-outline of research plans;
-full list of publications;
-three samples of major work;
-teaching and research interests.
