Hood College Department of Economics and Management invite applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the assistant professor rank. Candidates with teaching/research interests in two or more of the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:
-Environmental Economics
-History of Economic Thought
-Industrial Organization
-Law and Economics
-Health Economics
Candidates should have teaching experience and a familiarity with small, liberal arts colleges. The successful candidate will teach seven courses per academic year including principles, intermediate microeconomics, managerial economics (MBA) and elective courses. Ph.D. in economics is required, but ABD will be considered.
