The Department of Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles invites applications for a non-tenure track, Adjunct Faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of undergraduate teaching of the highest quality. The teaching load for the position will be three courses per quarter along with some undergraduate thesis advising. Candidates from all fields are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics or a comparable field by July 1, 2013. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Our ideal candidate will be someone who is interested in establishing a long-term teaching career at UCLA and in making a contribution to our undergraduate program. Specific courses will depend on the individual’s background and department needs, but may include both core courses and electives.
