Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics to begin in August, 2013. Duties include teaching 12 credit-hours per semester of principles and upper-level economics courses and in an MBA program. Area of expertise within economics is open, but some preference given to health related areas. The successful candidate should be particularly committed to undergraduate teaching, document teaching effectiveness, demonstrate research potential and continued scholarly growth, and be willing to engage in administrative responsibilities expected of full-time faculty members. A Ph.D. in economics at time of appointment is preferred, but ABD candidates close to completion may be considered.
