The School of Economics at the University of Sydney, in conjunction with the Charles Perkins Centre at the University, is seeking to appoint an economist for a full-time, continuing position at the level of full professor.
The School of Economics at the University of Sydney has a long and proud history through its research strength and teaching excellence. The Charles Perkins Centre is a new interdisciplinary research hub focused on the global burden of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. To contribute to this initiative the school seeks a high-calibre scholar, internationally recognised in the field of health economics, with a particular emphasis on the analysis of health risk behaviours.
An applied economist with a strong track record of publication and a commitment to the highest standards of teaching and graduate supervision, you will have the capability to have a transformative impact in health economics at the school, and engage with and leverage the multidisciplinary environment of the Charles Perkins Centre.
