Kyiv-Mohyla academy's ARRM (Armenian, Romano, Romanian and Moldovan) research bureau is looking for scholars who in 2013/2014 academic year expect to be one way or another exactly at half-way in their dissertation research. Formalities regarding your reaching Ph.D. candidacy status are overall not important; it is preferred that Cand. Sci. aspirants set both pre-defense and tentative defense dates during their stay. As a student you'll have an opportunity to travel around Ukraine, possibly teach a short course and work alone for a period of eight months. One would be interested in doing some fieldwork in an area of either majority or minority stratum. You will have opportunities to meet hefty Ukrainian scholars. Do expect help from theoreticians. An applicant can be an empiricist. Contact person: Pavel Hryh. Trisch
