ADBI, an international think tank, is looking for a trade economist for its Research department. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in economics or equivalent level.
The (Senior) Research Fellow will conduct economic research and contribute to the production and dissemination of research outputs. The position will provide policy advice to top-level policymakers in the Asia-Pacific region.
The specialization required is trade and investment, focussing on WTO, FTAs and production networks. Familiarity with computable general equilibrium modelling is desirable.
Candidates should have at least 6 years (10 for a senior position) of relevant professional experience, preferably in a leading national/regional/international think tank.
Contracts are for two or three years, renewable for two years (see http://www.adbi.org/about.adbi.employment/)
Other consulting or sabbatical opportunities are available for shorter-term visitors (see http://www.adbi.org/visiting.researchers.fellows/)
