The Department of Economics at the University of Winnipeg, invites applications for one probationary tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Subject to budgetary approval, this appointment is effective July 1, 2013. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
We are interested in applicants with a PhD in Finance or Financial Economics. Applicants should have a PhD or be close to completion. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to research and teaching.
In accordance with Canadian Immigration requirements, first preference must be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. The University of Winnipeg is committed to employment equity.
A Department representative will be conducting interviews during the AEA Annual Meetings, in San Diego, California, January 4 to 6, 2013.
