A Chair in Macroeconomics (ECO9)
The Department of Economics invites applications for a Chair in Macroeconomics which will be vacant in September 2013. To fulfill the needs of the department's structured PhD programme, candidates must have experience in graduate-level formal instruction and doctoral supervision as well as a strong academic publication record.
Candidates should have an excellent research record in macroeconomics, with interests in areas such as dynamic macro theory, business cycles, macro-labour, monetary or international economics, computational and estimation issues. Candidates whose research agenda has a strong empirical component will be given preference.
The Department promotes gender equality and cultural diversity. Contracts are for five years, renewable for further three years.
