The Research and Supervision, Credit, and Statistics Departments at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland have an opportunity for an economist specializing in banking or financial market regulation at either the senior or new Ph.D. level.
The position's primary responsibilities are to advise and assist Reserve Bank management in the formulation of supervision and regulatory policy, provide speech support to senior officers, and conduct financial policy-oriented research for the Bank's publications and academic journals. Candidates for this position should have a Ph.D. in economics or finance, strong knowledge of U.S. banking and its regulatory framework, excellent written and oral presentation skills, and a background in financial policy research.
