The Department of Economics anticipates an opening for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, beginning September 2013. Besides courses related to her/his research, the successful candidate will teach economics principles and a course on either econometrics or mathematical economics at the undergraduate level. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in health, environmental, behavioral and institutional economics. Normal teaching load is three courses per semester. Qualifications include: strong teaching and research record and interest in being part of a department representing and welcoming a variety of approaches to economics. Ph.D. at the time of employment required. Salary and benefits are competitive.
