The Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin and the Seton/UT Southwestern Clinical Research Institute of Austin are searching for outstanding candidates for a tenured professor position in the areas of Health Economics, Clinical Research and Health Policy.

The LBJ School's mission is to develop leaders and ideas that will help the state, nation and international community address critical public policy challenges in an ever increasingly interconnected and interdependent world. Drawing upon a world-renowned, multidisciplinary faculty and the resources of one of the world's leading research universities, the LBJ School is at the intersection of knowledge and action, shaping public policy for the 21st century.

The Seton/UT Southwestern Clinical Research Institute is a partnership of Seton Healthcare Family and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Undertaking cutting-edge, high impact, patient-based research, scholars and medical researchers there are working to improve health care and to establish the institute as a leading center for clinical research networks across Central Texas, the UT System and the nation.

Candidates should have strong interest in clinical and health outcomes research as well as policy-relevant health or health economics research, domestic and/or international, and a medical degree and/or doctoral degree in economics, public health or a related discipline. Candidates should be enthusiastic about engaging in multi-disciplinary collaboration within the School and the Institute, with academic departments across the university, and with health policy organizations and agencies off-campus.
