REMI, developer of the world's leading regional economic policy analysis models, is currently in the process of expanding its business operations. We are seeking an MA or PhD economist to work with our development team to develop and implement models for national and regional economies in the U.S. and internationally. The research economist will:
- Estimate model equations and conduct econometric analysis;
- Work with national accounts and input-output tables for the U.S. and international economies;
- Implement model equations as part of our economic model development.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in econometrics, national accounts, input-output, and the new economic geography. He/she will have solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
The research economist must also have strong technical presentation and writing skills. Domestic and international travel may be required.
