The Department of Political Science, Economics and Sociology at Birmingham-Southern College announces a search for a tenure-track position in Economics beginning Fall 2013. Qualifications are a Ph.D. in Economics completed by September 2013. The College seeks exceptional candidates committed to its philosophy of liberal arts education regardless of their fields of specialization. BSC is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute, through their teaching, research, and/or service, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory and intermediate microeconomics, and upper-level courses.
