The California Franchise Tax Board is seeking a staff economist. The FTB administers California's Personal Income Tax and Corporation Tax. Within FTB, the Economic and Statistical Research Bureau provides data and nonpartisan analysis of tax legislation and policy to California's elected officials and the general public. The position is part of a team whose primary responsibility is to estimate the revenue impacts to the state of proposed changes to tax law.
