The Economics Department invites applications for tenure-tract Assistant Professor position beginning August 2013. We offer a traditional major and a separate major in Quantitative Economics that is taught jointly with the Mathematics Department. Candidates should have both a robust research agenda and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. It is preferred that candidates complete PhD level requirements by August 2013. Teaching load is 3 courses per semester with small section sizes (10-25 Students). Teaching opportunities include macroeconomics, financial crisis, international trade and finance, and econometrics. Tenure-track faculty are well-supported with professional development opportunities. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
