The Department of Economics at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 15, 2013. The successful candidate will also serve as the Director of the EKU Center for Economic Education. Teaching responsibilities include introductory economics and electives within the candidate's areas of expertise. Applicants interested in online and/or distance teaching opportunities are encouraged to apply. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in economics and have demonstrated experience in economic education programming and research as well as the ability to acquire funding from external sources.
