In addition, you will be expected to carry out your own research on household finances or survey methodology. Your analysis and articles will be published in academic literature and will serve to support the Executive Board and to form public opinion.
Your profile: University degree, (accredited) Masters degree or equivalent qualification with above-average results; A doctoral qualification would be an advantage; Household finance or survey methodology as a research focus desirable; Knowledge and experience of microeconometric analysis as well as evaluating survey data; Experience of producing survey data desirable; Ability to conduct research independently, preferably supported by publications; Ability to work both independently and in a team; A good command of German and English.
What we are offering you: We offer committed and motivated employees an excellent work and research environment with an international outlook. We also offer the opportunity to job share, allowing you to combine doctoral studies with your work. We would like to increase the proportion of women at the Bundesbank and would therefore welcome applications from qualified women. Part-time work is generally possible.
