The Department of Economics at National Chung Cheng University in Taiwan announces its recruitment plan for scholars with a Ph.D. degree in Economics (or expected before July 31, 2013).
Introduction:
The ECON Department of CCU offers undergraduate, master, and doctoral programs in economics. The department admits 100 freshmen, 30 master students, and 6-8 Ph.D. students every year. The department has 24 full-time faculties and is the largest department of economics in southern Taiwan.
Openings: Full-time positions: professor, associate or assistant professor(or project-appointed assistant professor)
Effective Date: August 1, 2013.
Research Fields and Teaching Courses (Ph.D. Program):
1. International Trade Theory
2. International Finance Theory
Required Documents:
1. A copy of the Ph.D. diploma.
2. Curriculum vitae, transcripts in graduate schools, and three recommendation letters.
3. Two selected publications and a list of publications in past 5 years.
4. A course proposal for International Trade Theory or International Finance Theory that the applicant is willing to teach in the Ph.D. program.
