Arkansas Tech University College of Business has a faculty opening for a full-time, tenure-track economics position, beginning August 2013. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience. Required qualifications include a doctorate in Economics. ABD will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate teaching and research effectiveness. The teaching load will include principles regularly and at least one upper-division elective. Ability to teach graduate courses is a plus. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to take on college, university, and community service assignments.

The College of Business offers a variety of majors including Economics/Finance and is accredited by AACSB-International. Arkansas Tech offers an attractive fringe benefit package including medical, dental, and life insurance and participation in TIAA-CREF retirement plans.
