The Global Rates and Currencies research team (GRC Research) is a global team of approximately 25 investment professionals focused on provide cutting edge investment insights in developed rates and currency markets.
GRC Research is seeking a candidate to conduct original quantitative research, primarily in the fields of forecasting currencies, portfolio construction and management, and volatility forecasting. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding technical ability, excellent interpersonal skills, creativity to be a thought leader, and a passion for financial markets.
Responsibilities:
--Conduct original quantitative research in forecasting currencies, portfolio management, and volatility forecasting.
--Contribute to macro-economic research as part of a global team.
--Maintain proprietary quantitative models.
Qualifications
Skills:
--Impeccable character with high ethical and quality standards.
--PhD in economics/finance or quantitative field.
--Demonstrated ability to conduct and publish high-quality research.
--Proven ability to work independently with limited oversight.
--Creativity and capability to move from ideas to investment insights.
--Ability to interact with clients.
--Passion for financial markets.
