Baruch College invites applications for a position to teach research and analysis at the rank of Lecturer or Lecturer Doctoral Schedule. The position requires teaching core undergraduate and graduate courses in quantitative analysis and research methods applicable to the public and nonprofit sectors. A research agenda is not required. The position is a non-tenure track one-year appointment with annual renewals possible but not guaranteed.
Relevant teaching experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D., although ABDs and master's degree holders with significant relevant experience will be considered. The position is open to any academic discipline. Candidates must have both a good practical and theoretical understanding of statistics, experience with statistical software packages and relevant data sets, and familiarity with survey and experimental design. The successful applicant must possess an interest in working with an ethnically and racially diverse student body.
