The Department of Economics at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Economics to start in August 2013. The Economics Department is a small undergraduate-oriented department within the AACSB accredited business school. The candidate should have Ph.D. in hand. Prior teaching experience preferred. Main teaching responsibilities include teaching principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, and upper-level undergraduate economics courses depending on the need of the Department. The candidate is expected to publish in quality refereed economics journals in order to maintain academic qualifications per AACSB standards. The search committee will consider high quality candidates in all areas of economics. The committee will conduct initial interviews at the January 2013 AEA/ASSA meetings.
