Position is 50% teaching and 50% research split. The faculty member will serve as Program Coordinator for our Master of Agribusiness (MAB) program. The faculty member must develop and teach two classes for that program, an undergraduate-level course, and advise students in special projects and internships related to the MAB. He/she will be expected to bring strong quantitative skills to bear in his/her teaching and research programs. The desired teaching/research areas include but are not limited to agricultural marketing and management, food and fiber distribution systems, value-added agriculture, and agricultural market structure and performance. Major responsibilities: developing a nationally recognized applied, industry-focused research and outreach program; publishing research in reputable peer-reviewed journals; attracting extramural funding in the form of applied, industry-focused research grants and contracts; teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; advising undergraduate and graduate students; and coordinating the MAB program.
