The Center for Applied Economics (http://www.cea-uchile.cl) and the Center of Finance (http://www.cf.dii.uchile.cl) at the University of Chile are currently inviting applications for academic positions at both the assistant and associate professor levels. We invite applicants in all fields of economics and finance. Applicants should have a PhD in economics or finance (or be close to completion) and be highly committed to academic research. Starting salaries are US$75,000 (equivalent) and are significantly increased depending on the applicant's qualification and field. Teaching load is three courses per year. Knowledge of Spanish is not required, but we expect successful applicants to be able to teach in Spanish within one year following the appointment.
