The School of Economics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology which ranks among the top 10 of China's universities, is planning to fill up to 15 faculty positions in the coming 4 years. The fields include microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, international economics, statistics, finance, development economics, economics of environment and resources, economics of labor, regional economics ,economic history, and others.
Compensation package includes salary between RMB 250000-500000, research funds, housing allowances, plus standard fringe benefits. Appointees must have Ph.D. by July 2013. Candidates with great potential or well-established credentials will be considered. We will conduct interviews at AEA annual meeting in San Diego, CA.
