George Mason University's Department of Economics seeks applicants to fill one tenure-track assistant professorship opening in Fall 2013. Specialists in all fields are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have demonstrated genuine promise in doing high-level, scholarly research as well as a commitment to classroom teaching. This position will have a 2:2 teaching load. PhD in hand is highly preferable. An affiliation with the Mercatus Center at George Mason University is a part of the offer.
