The University of Washington Bothell, School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track opening at the Assistant Professor level in Economics. The appointment will be on a full-time, nine month, academic year basis effective September 2013. A Ph.D. degree in economics or a related discipline is required. Candidates near completion will be considered.
The position requires an active research program with the potential for publication in leading academic journals. We offer the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in diverse business sub-disciplines including Accounting, Marketing, Finance and Management. The successful candidate will teach economics and statistics courses in a business school setting before MBA and undergraduate level audiences. Successful candidates must be committed to working with diverse student and community populations. The compensation package is competitive.
