The Department of Organizational Management at Tusculum College is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position in Economics for the School of Business beginning August 2013. To be considered for a full-time position, applicants should have an earned doctorate or anticipate completing a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2013. Credentials to teach additional business related areas, such as finance, are a plus.
Applicants should be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Additional duties include advising students, mentoring adjunct faculty, assistance in the development and implementation of program objectives and committee work related to faculty governance. Successful applicants are expected to engage in and contribute toward the good of the College and its community through the maintenance of current competence in the discipline and shared expertise, time, and talents with the larger College community.
