1-2 Vacancies for Assistant Professor. Full time, entry level, tenure-track appointment beginning August, 2013. Contribute to instruction, public and university service, and research/scholarship. 12 credit hours per semester of Introductory Micro- and Macroeconomics and applied economics which contribute to general education, diversity, global understanding, Economics minors, and Applied Social Science Program. Health, Labor, Environmental and Natural Resources, Law and Economics, Urban and Regional, Industrial, Technology, and related areas of expertise are sought. Interdisciplinary collaboration with faculty in conducting applied research in business and industry, non-profit, and government sectors. Engage in professional service, scholarly activity, and pursue external funding. Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics by the beginning of the appointment; demonstrated potential to teach undergraduate majors and non-majors; and scholarly promise. EEO/AA employer.
