The School of Business and Economics (SBE) at Fayetteville State University is seeking to hire a leading scholar in the field of entrepreneurship to serve as Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship and to lead the SBE Center for Entrepreneurship. The anticipated start date is Fall, 2013. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, community engagement, and program management. Key responsibilities will include:
--Teaching
--Leading FSU-sponsored conferences
--Developing new programs to expand FSU's entrepreneurship-related offerings
The successful candidate must have a doctorate from an appropriately accredited institution in entrepreneurship, economics, or business. Experience working as an entrepreneur or working with entrepreneurs is preferred.
Fayetteville State University is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina System. The School of Business and Economics (SBE) serves approximately 1,000 undergraduate and MBA students. The SBE is listed as a Top 100 business school by SSRN, and is accredited by AACSB International. The School has a strong focus on academics, student services and community relationships.
