The Department of Economics seeks applications to fill one position at the assistant professor level starting August 25, 2013. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research interests in empirical and theoretical aspects of the macroeconomy and in econometrics. A Ph.D. in Economics must be conferred by August 25, 2013 for appointment as Assistant Professor. Candidates with ABD status may be considered for the position, with the title of Acting Assistant Professor. Applicants must have potential for performing important economic research and teaching. Candidates will submit a resume, a research paper, and letters of recommendation.
